New Fedora Desktop Setup!
Today, I have a class where I need to use Mac OS or Linux-based OS, because we have to run docker or k8s. So before class, I grabbed my old, dusty Dell laptop and turned it on. It was running quite nicely, but it was missing some aesthetics.
How about I make it very minimalistic and very dark-themed?

The final result
First, I made my background color pitch black. Not just black, #000000. Next, I made the taskbar float a little bit - not stretching across the bottom of the screen.
Finally, I added conky. Since I’m dumb, I also installed conky-manager2. It helped me set up some widgets with cool themes.
By the way, there was a slight mishap. I asked Claude to make conky-manager2 run everytime when I log in. It suddenly bricked by system. I could not log in, and even if I could, it would just kick me back to the login screen in few seconds.
So I have to go to grub and give it a start option single, and had to remove the startup script in command line. Like, what the heck.
Anyways, I’m now happy with the result. Will be posting about Fedora setup more in the future.
